Introduction

Welcome to the APISense documentation. Learn how to gain immediate visibility into your backend services.

What is APISense?

APISense is a developer-focused API observability and intelligence platform. It is designed to help backend developers monitor API health, understand failures, and investigate performance issues in real time.

Rather than relying on user complaints or digging through messy unstructured logs, APISense provides a centralized dashboard to track endpoint latencies, success rates, and errors.

Who is it for?

APISense is built specifically for:

  • Backend Developers
  • Indie Hackers & Freelancers
  • Startups and small engineering teams

How it works

APISense operates on a simple push-based telemetry model. You install the lightweight APISense SDK into your backend service, initialize it with your unique API Key, and it automatically intercepts and reports request metrics (such as path, method, status code, and latency) to the APISense ingestion servers without blocking your application's main thread.
